Logistics refers to the general process of managing how resources are procured (bought or purchased), stored, and shipped to their final destination. Logistics management includes identifying exempt distributors and suppliers and determining their effectiveness and accessibility. Logistics managers are called logisticians. The term "logistics" was originally a military term used to describe the procurement, storage and transportation of equipment and supplies for military personnel. The term is used widely in business today, particularly manufacturing companies, to refer to how resources are managed and transferred through the supply chain. Purchasing is the most important element in today's business operations and takes into account the most important factors and plays an important role in business success. Companies often rely on third-party procurement to reduce costs and get more efficient results from specialist service providers. This study examines the performance factors influencing supply chain performance and the risks of Pakistani logistics performance in offshore logistics companies.
