All organizations need to be effective and some portion of their prosperity is directly associated with their workers' performance. In the global era, when employees are ignored and estimated, they are not able to do work potentially and they find reasons to stay away from work. Due to workplace ostracism (defined as being precluded and ignored, is a hurtful and universal social phenomenon), they suffer from work stress and they use internet for personal purpos main e at workplace is known as cyberloafing to relax their mind. Numerous elements impact workers' performance accordingly it is significant for an organization to distinguish them.
The aim of the study is to examine the impact of workplace ostracism on the cyberloafing in textile sector in Pakistan. In addition work stress is explored as mediator in the relationship between workplace ostracism and cyberloafing. As workplace ostracism is a new topic in research field and rare studies grasp this concept in the developing countries. To evaluate the hypothesized relationships and survey questionnaires had used to collect data obtained 320 from the workers of textile mills in Pakistan. The data is collected from 320 workers analyzed by using SPSS 20 and AMOS 22 and (SEM) Structure Equation Modeling applied to test the ten hypothesized relationships. The result obtained through SEM, indicate the workplace ostracism played significant role directly through work stress at textile employees in Lahore, Pakistan and indirectly through the cyberloafing. Furthermore results show that work stress partially mediate the relationship of workplace ostracism and cyberloafing. Model represents that the workplace ostracism indicates, the lower direct effect on work stress. The present research study is one of the first study investigate these variables relationship with first time. Furthermore, present study is rare research to investigate the variables, because limited literature is available in workplace ostracism and cyberloafing as these are new concept and are not fully understood ostracized behavior toward the cyberloafing. This paper adds valuable knowledge in ostracized behavior toward the cyberloafing.
