This thesis is about the effectiveness of Islamic preaching on TV AlHijrah in Malaysia. The
research was done because programs on Islamic TV did not attract the attention of young
people and the elderly. Because Islamic programs are considered to be programs that do not
attract or entertain some people. The purpose of this research is to find out the broadcast
programs shown on TV Alhijrah, Kuala Lumpur, to find out the obstacles faced by the
management of AlHijrah television in applying Islamic-based broadcasting, and the
community's views on the Islamic events shown on AlHijrah television. This research was
conducted on AlHijrah TV producers who worked on the program. This type of research is
descriptive with a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as interviews
and close observation by the researcher. Based on the research results, the Assalamualaikum
program uses soft da'wah to attract the community, especially young people, on the TikTok
and Instagram platforms. In addition to that, the Carta 114 program with the tagline "Da'wah
in Song'' uses da'wah techniques with an Islamic music approach for young people who like
da'wah in a relaxed way. The response from the community to the Islamic event on TV
AlHijrah received a positive response and provided benefits.
